Victor Mendoza, MD
Victor Mendoza, MD, is an integrative health specialist and primary care provider at Fountain of Youth Medical Spa in Birmingham, Alabama. With dual board certification in anesthesiology and pain medicine and a specialization in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Mendoza combined his medical expertise to create a practice providing comprehensive medical care, mental health services, and rejuvenating med spa treatments.
Dr. Mendoza received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with a medical degree from the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, he completed an internal medicine internship at Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He stayed in St. Louis to finish a residency in anesthesiology at the Washington University Medical Center.
During his anesthesiology residency, he gained intensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic injections, becoming an expert in neuraxial injections, peripheral nerve injections, and vascular access. He also has extensive experience and ongoing training in the safe and proper use of popular aesthetic injections, such as Botox® and dermal fillers. Dr. Mendoza also completed training in laser skin rejuvenation. Dr. Mendoza is an avid student who continues to learn about today’s innovative treatments and receives the most up-to-date training in medical aesthetic treatments. He’s a member of multiple prestigious medical societies, including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine (IAPAM), and the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM).
